Alvarinho
Caracteriza-se por uma cor intensa, palha, com reflexos citrinos, aroma intenso, distinto e complexo, que vai desde o marmelo, pêssego, banana, limão, maracujá e líchia, a flor de laranjeira e violeta, a avelã e noz, e a mel, sendo o sabor complexo, macio, redondo, harmonioso, encorpado e persistente.
It produces must whitch is particularly rich in sugar and with a reasonable organic acid content. Alvarinho has an intense straw color with citrus overtones and an intense, distinct and complex arome profile, reminiscent of quince, peach, banana, lemon, passion fruit and lychees (fruity), orange blosson and violet (floral), hazelnut and walnut (nutty) and honey. The Final result is a complex, smooth and harmonious wine with a full bodie and a lingering flavor.
Arinto
Cultivada por toda a Região é também conhecida como Arinto de Bucelas, atinge o seu mais elevado nível de qualidade nas zonas interiores da região (Amarante). Os vinhos são de cor citrina a palha, apresentam aroma rico, do frutado dos citrinos e pomóideas (maçã madura e pêra) ao floral (lantanas). O sabor é fresco, harmonioso e persistente.
Known as the “Arinto de Bucelas” it can be found at its best in the inland parts of the region (Amarante). It produces must with medium to high percentage of sugar and a relatively high organic acid content. Arinto wines color range from citrus to straw and have a rich fruity aroma of citrus, ripe apple and pear as well as floral overtones. The flavour is crisp, harmonious and lingering.
Azal
Casta cultivada em zonas de interior onde amadurece bem e atinge o seu nível de qualidade quando plantada nos terrenos secos e bem expostos da sub-região de Amarante. Produz vinhos de cor ligeira, citrina aberta, descorada, aroma frutado (limão e maçã verde) não excessivamente intensos e complexos; finos, agradáveis, frescos e citrinos, sendo o sabor frutado, ligeiramente acídulo, com frescura e jovem, podendo em anos excecionais revelarem-se encorpados e harmoniosos.
Especially grown in inland areas where it matures well, it achieves a high quality when planted in the dry, well exposed soils of the Amarante region. The wines are pale but very slightly citrus in color and have a fruity aroma (lemon and green apple) which is not over intense or complex, yer, is very refined, pleasant, crisp and citrus. In the mouth, it is fruity, with a slight acidity, crisp and young. These wines can be full-bodied and harmonious.
Loureiro
Casta cultivada em quase toda a região é antiga e de alta qualidade, produz vinhos de cor citrina, aroma fino, elegante, que vai do frutado de citrinos (limão) ao floral (frésia, rosa) e melado (bouquet), sendo o sabor frutado, com ligeiro acídulo, fresco, harmonioso, encorpado e persistente.

Avesso
Produz vinhos de cor intensa, palha aberta, com reflexos esverdeados, aroma misto entre o frutado (laranja e pêssego), o amendoado (frutos secos) e o floral, sendo o caráter frutado dominante, delicado, subtil e complexo. O sabor é frutado, com ligeiro acídulo, fresco, harmonioso, encorpado e persistente. Estas potencialidades de aroma e sabor revelam-se somente alguns meses após a vinificação
It produces wines with an intense pale straw colour, with greenish overtones and an aroma which is part fruity (orange and peach), part nutty and part floral, although its fruity character is dominant, delicate, subtle and complex. It has a fruity flavour, with a hint of acidity, which is crisp, harmonious, full-bodied and lingering. These elements of the aroma and flavour are only revealed some months after vinification.
Padeiro
Casta diferenciadora na Região. Produz vinhos de cor vermelha rubi a vermelha granada, de aroma e sabor à casta, harmoniosos e saborosos.
